Robert "Bob" Michael Ward, age 56, passed away on December 15, 2021 at his home in McDonough,Georgia. Robert was born on February 4, 1965 to Bruce F. Ward and Mary (Andrejko) Wierman inElizabeth, NJ. He moved to Tucson, Arizona when he was 8 years old. He graduated from Santa RitaHigh School in 1983. Shortly thereafter, he headed to Kentucky and spent a few years there. Afterrealizing he could not make a living there, he headed to the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia where he hasspent the last 30 years. Robert was a member of Bridge Point Connect Church.Growing up, he was always on the go - playing baseball, tennis, golf or hanging out with his manyfriends. He played competitive tennis in high school and spent most of that time ranked number one onthe tennis team. He was popular in high school, especially with the girls. He taught himself how to playthe guitar at a young age and never stopped playing.In his later years, he played softball with the Turning Point Church group with his son Michael and wonnumerous trophies. He was very proud and honored to play with that group of people, and always hada big smile on his face when he talked about the memories with them.He was known for his big blue eyes, and his quick-witted and unique sense of humor. He would usuallyleave you smiling, laughing or shaking your head with his corny jokes.He is survived by his two children, Robert "Michael" Ward Jr. of McDonough, GA, and Tyler JosephWard (Cinnamon) of Hampton, GA; his father, Bruce F. Ward of Tucson, AZ; his mother, Mary (Andrejko)Wierman (Bud) of Marianna, FL; his brother Bruce F. Ward Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; and sister Deborah Reed(Levi) of Lapoint, UT; his grandchildren Legend Ward, Cade Ward, Storm Ward, Zoey Ward, and RiverWard, and nephews Christopher Ward and Karter Reed, and niece Abby Reed; and many cousins andextended family.Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart FuneralHome. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-2PM,before the service at the funeral home.
