Romea Moriles lovingly known as "Grandma Moriles" peacefully departed on January 5, 2025 in Jonesboro, GA leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion. Born on July 4, 1925 in Carigara, Leyte, Philippines to Valeriana Anagap & Celedonio Raya, she was blessed with nine siblings. Grandma Moriles graduated from Western Leyte College earning her teaching degree and went to serve as a teacher, school librarian, and treasurer inspiring countless lives. On August 9, 1952, she married Manuel Moriles & together they were blessed with five children and a remarkable 70 years of marriage. Romea & Manuel embarked on a new journey to the USA in 1994, driven by their love and desire to care for their grandchildren. They became devoted members of Morrow Presbyterian Church on July 4, 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel in 2023.
Grandma Moriles was a shining example of faith in action. She selflessly mailed sermons to those unavailable to attend church, visited the sick and shut-ins and was an active member of the Dorcas Circle, Young at Heart & Pacer's Sunday School Class.

Grandma Moriles legacy continues through her children and their spouses, Manuel Moriles, Romeo and Mary Ann Moriles, Joy and Al Tinio, Cecilia and Rey Morales, Bishop Jaime and Dobert Moriles and her adopted daughter Felicitas Sevilla. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
