Romona Dale Head, age 65 of Jonesboro passed away November 14, 2016. She was employed by Clayton Co. School System, having worked in Food Service at Riverdale High School for 15 years, and loved her school. She was preceded in death by her parents: James E. and Maxine B. Massengale, and a brother: Billy Massengale. Surviving are her brother: James B. Massengale and wife Debbie of Jonesboro, several aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews and 1 great-great niece and 1 great-great nephew, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016, 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hardin officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
