Mr. Ronald D. McCormick, age 70, of Stockbridge, passed away, October 17, 2013. He was preceded in death by his daughter; Kim Cook. He is survived by his wife; Geraldine McCormick of Stockbridge, children; Johnny (Betty) White of Stockbridge, Tammy (Ramez) Badan of Stockbridge, Penny Marlow of Snellville, Trena (Edward) White of Locust Grove, Sarah Spinilli of Clearwater FL, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, 2 PM Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Guiding Light Baptist Church in Jonesboro. He will be placed in state at noon. Rev. Harold Lowery and Rev. Eddie Thackston will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday October 18, 2013 4-8 PM at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in McDonough.
