Mr. Roy Carroll Geeslin, age 93 of Jonesboro passed away January 21, 2018. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church, the American Legion and the V.F.W., and was preceded in death by his son: Roy Carroll Geeslin, Jr. Surviving are his wife: Lila Geeslin, son: James "Mike" Geeslin of Hiawassee, brother: Marion Geeslin of Lumpkin, GA, 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charity Baptist Church, 9181Floyd Road, Jonesboro, GA 30236 in memory of Mr. Geeslin.
