Mr. Roy (Tommy) E. Leatherwood, age 67, of Jackson passed away on February 21, 2016. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Faye J. Leatherwood; son, Jason (Christina) Leatherwood of Stockbridge; mother, Louise Leatherwood of Jackson; stepchildren, Russell Hall of Newborn, Ginger (Tim) Jackson of Fayetteville; siblings, Teresa (Gene) Burgess of Crossville, TN, Annette (Albert) Nash of Jackson, Lavonna (Tim) Humphries of Stockbridge, Carl Lee (Janice) Leatherwood of Stockbridge, Wade (Maria) Leatherwood of TX, and Greg Leatherwood of TN; grandchildren, Aaron Leatherwood, Madison Leatherwood and extended family. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 26, 2016 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
