Rev. Rozzie Lee Spell, age 88 of Riverdale passed away November 23, 2019. Rev. Spell was very involved with her church, Center Point Church of God in Griffin and was an Evangelist with the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carlon Elbert Spell, parents: Charles Raymond and Maebelle Fordham, siblings: Doris Cox, Vertamae Loden, Florence Unverzagt, Thelma Hanson and Charles Edward Fordham. Rev. Spell is survived by her children: Leonard (Denise) Spell of Lexington, KY, Kevin (Nancy) Spell of Griffin and Melody (Jimmy) Underwood of Wrightsville, GA, brother: Maxwell Fordham of Sykesville, MD, grandchildren: Kimberly Land, Derrick Spell, Ryan Spell, Brandon Spell, Quay Spell and Kaleb Spell, 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Center Point Church of God, 1427 US 41 BYP. Griffin, GA 30224, with Pastor Mark Davenport and Pastor Michelle Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the family for final expenses.
