Mrs.  Ruby D. Conkle, age 96, of Fayetteville, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away on January 12, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" W. Conkle, Sr., parents; Harry G. and Sarah A. Earle,   grandson; Derrick Payne and her siblings.  Mrs. Conkle is survived by her children; Bill (Sharon) Conkle, Jr. of Hampton, Susan (Gary) Payne of Hampton, sister; Edith Roark of KY, grandchildren; Matthew Conkle, Sarah (Nick) Sheridan, Michael Jones, Janet Carney and great grandchildren; Garrison Jones and Noah Rodriguez.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM the day of the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, 2957 Mt.
