Mrs. Ruby Gordon Strickland, age 91, of Jackson GA, passed away July 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband James Strickland. She is survived by her children; Sarah Strickland of Jackson, James L. (Cadelia) Strickland, Jr., of Jackson, brother; Charles A. Hutto of Abbeville, AL, sister; Annie Mills, grandchildren; Colette (Kelly) Kilbourne, William (Beth) Strickland, Amanda (Christopher) Smith, great grandchildren; Kelbi Kilbourne, Kyndal Kilbourne, Tyler Strickland, Isabelle Strickland, Jonathan Smith, Michael Smith, Matthew Smith. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
