Mrs. Ruth B. Brannen, age 96 of Metter, GA., formerly of Jonesboro passed away August 10, 2024. Mrs. Brannen was preceded in death by her husband: Wilbur L. Brannen. She is survived by her children: James G. Brannen of Monroe, George W. Brannen of Statesboro, Lewis C. Brannen of Athens and Charlotte Keene of Northern England, ten grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Jonesboro City Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
