Mrs. Sadie Ann Collins, age 78 of Jonesboro passed away March 13, 2022. Mrs. Collins was a member of Assembly of God Tabernacle and she sang in the Golden Stair Choir.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Jimmie O'Neal and Lillian Lucile Merritt and husband: Waymon Wendell Collins. She is survived by her children: Wanda Collins of Jonesboro and Wayne (Cheryl) Collins of Stockbridge; brothers: Jimmy (Lenete) Merritt of Mesquite, TX and Thomas (Becky) Merritt of Monroe; sisters: Shirley Mayo of Covington and Patsy (Robert) Wood of Buford; many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, March 18th, 2022 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Hogg officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
