Mr. Sam Lowder age 73 of McDonough passed away July 24, 2016. Mr. Lowder was a Member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro and was a retired teacher from Clayton County School System. He was preceded in death by wife: Jackie Lowder, and sister: Jane Snyder. He is survived by children: Lori Lowder of McDonough, and Sam & Mahli Lowder of McDonough; brothers: Robert Lowder of Kennesaw, and William & Vivian Lowder of SC; sister: Juanita & Larry Hammock of Monroe. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at First Baptist Church Jonesboro Chapel. Burial to follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the funeral home, and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
