Mrs. Samantha L. Melton, age 43, of Jonesboro, passed away on May 8, 2024. She was born in Stockbridge, GA on February 20, 1981. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Horace Melton, Jr. and her grandparents, Wayne and Laura Seal. She is survived by her mother, Sharon Seal Melton; siblings, Tonya Leigh (Jeffrey) Halliday of Woodstock, Michael Hutchinson of Jonesboro; nephews, Jacob Halliday and Christian Halliday; great niece, Mia; aunt, Jenny (Boyd) Southern of TN; uncles, Jack (Barbara) Seal of MS, Mike (Kim) Seal of McDonough and extended family. A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Neil Norman will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11AM-1PM the day of the service at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City following the service. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made in her name to your local Humane Society.
