Mr. Sanford "Bud" Nash, age 80 of Jonesboro passed away October 25, 2021. Mr. Nash was Veteran of the US Army, was retired from the City of East Point and was preceded in death by his parents: Sanford W. and Ruby D. Nash and son: Bud "Bubba" Nash, Jr., and sister:Nancy Nash. He is survived by his wife: Linda Nash, daughter: Missy (Clint) Ives of Jonesboro, granddaughter: Annah Nash, brother: Bob Nash, sisters: Louise Nash (Julian) Strickland, Sybil Burdett, Gwen Miller, Linda (Donald) Coppett, Wilma Parris and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Mr. Julian Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in College Park. The family will receive friends 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. prior to the service.
