Mrs. Sara Murphy Brock age 88 of Jonesboro passed away February 21, 2018. Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph Lemuel & Mary Frances Dodson Murphy; husband: Donald Wesley Brock, Sr.; two brothers: Joseph Luther Murphy and Thomas "Tommy" Estill Murphy; and grandson: Larry Gene Brock, Jr. She is survived by her son: Brian Keith Brock and wife Dusty of Jonesboro; step-sons: Donald Wesley Brock, Jr. of Stockbridge and Larry Gene Brock of Rossville, GA; sisters: Betty Jo Murphy of Lovejoy and Mary Jane Exum of MO; grandchildren: Kyli Morgan Brock, Aaron Mark Brown, Brandi Reeves Holmes, Shannon Brock Clardy and Sydney Brock; great grandchildren: Dax Henry brown and other great grandchildren; nieces and nephews: Adrian Masingill, Joe Murphy, Edward Murphy, Todd Murphy, Shannon Exum and Dawn Holman. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Teresa Lilja officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Friday, February 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
