Scott Benson, age 76, of Hampton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Born on March 7, 1948, in Orlando, Florida, Scott was the son of the late Luther and Gertrude Benson.

Scott dedicated much of his life to his work as a computer programmer with Delta Airlines. He was also an active member of Noah's Ark Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Dobbs.

Scott is survived by his sister Mary Beth Davis of Fayetteville, nephew Adam Smith of Marietta; his cousin, Carol Frisbie of Union City; Deborah's adopted daughter, Kim Beck of Concord, and close friends Pat and Gene Hussey, along with other extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 1:00 PM at Noah's Ark Church, 2952 Noah's Ark Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
