Ms. Sharon Marie Emerson, age 74 of Jonesboro passed away March 10, 2022. Ms. Emerson was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Hapeville and was preceded in death by her parents: Francis Robert and Gloria Emerson and her grandson: Christopher Cash. She is survived by her daughter: Debbie Whiteman of Griffin and Charles Whiteman of Roswell, brothers: F. Robert (Wil) Emerson, Jr. and Thomas E. (Christie) Emerson, grandchildren: Nicole, Heather, Erica, Cameron, Grant and Chloe, great-grandchildren: Evan, Sofia, Mason, Charlotte, Bennett, Abbigail, Kash and  Sara Grace. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Willie Russell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
