Mrs. Sharon K. Hawn, age 74 of Hampton passed away November 28, 2022. Mrs. Hawn was a member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro where she was a member of the choir for many years, taught Children's Sunday School and was active with the Drama Department. She was also involved with the Henry Players.  Mrs. Hawn was preceded in death by her parents: Aquila B. King, Jr. and Voncyle (Ivie) King, sisters: Patricia Weldon and Voncyle Hill and one brother: Jimmy King. She is survived by her husband: Darius Hawn, son: Garrett Kirkland, Jr. of Hampton, brothers: A. B. (Nancy) King, III of Jacksonville, AL and Tom (Kim) King of Morganton, GA, sister: Becki (Anson) Fields of Macon, grandchildren: Shea Kirkland and Garrett Kirkland, III and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2022  in the Chapel of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org , in Memory of Sharon K. Hawn.
