Mrs. Shirley W. Brown, age 83 of Jonesboro passed away October 16, 2020. Mrs. Brown was a member of First United Methodist Church Jonesboro and was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Earl Brown. She is survived by her spouse: Susan Wilson, son: Gregory Earl (Jami) Brown of Griffin, grandchildren: Lauren Brown, Julia Brown, Rachel Gordy and Matthew Garmon, great-grandchildren: Juliette Rose Brown and Waylon Gordy and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with The Rev. Marti Slife officiating. The family will receive friends 10 a.m.- 11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Jonesboro First United Methodist Church, 142 S. Main Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236, in Memory of Shirley W. Brown.
