Mrs. Shirley K. McElhannon, age 79, of McDonough, passed away, January 7, 2015. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle. She is survived by her husband, Bobby J. McElhannon; children, Jane (Tony) Nix of Atlanta, Jeff McElhannon of McDonough; brother, Linzy (Chris) Kidd of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Rebekah (Marshall) Sanders, Kim (Ben) Brown, Austin McElhannon, Nicholas McElhannon, Luke Christopher McElhannon; great grandchildren, Elijah Sanders and Sarah Sanders. Funeral services will he held at 11 AM on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle. Dr. Joe Arthur will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.
