Obituary

Signa Yingling, age 86, of Dacula, passed away on July 9, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1939 in Evergreen, Alabama to the late Paul and Annie Williams. Signa was a classic southern lady - kind, giving, and strong of will and mind. She valued the importance of church and God and was a devout Christian. She loved her husband, children, grandsons, and great granddaughters with her whole heart. In an effort to communicate with her beloved brother, JuJu, she became fluent in sign language. She was an amazing and talented seamstress and quilter. She was gifted in so many ways.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Yingling was also preceded in death by her child: Dana Wayne Yingling and nine siblings. She is survived by her husband: Ken, children: Kenneth Wayne Yingling of Roswel, Karen (Edward) Smith of Dacula, sister: Betty Sue (William) Sims of Alabama, grandchildren: Andrew (Michaela) Smith, Jacob (Marilyn) Yingling, Will Yingling, great grandchildren: Stella Drew Smith, Kenzie Yingling
and extended family. A Funeral Serivice will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 PM till 1:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be at Berea Cemetery in Hampton, GA, following the service.
