Mr. Starling Nelson Ervin, age 63 of Hampton passed away March 30, 2015. he was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Daisy Ervin, and son, Rondell Wilson. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Ervin, children, Starling Ervin, Jr. and wife Lisa of Chattanooga, TN., Nichelle Woodruff and husband Carlos of Chattanooga, TN., Kerry Ervin and wife Amy of WA., Rachelle Smith and husband Mark of CA., and Michael Ervin and wife Amy of Chattanooga, brother, Lawrence Ervin and wife Rachel of Stockbridge, 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015, 3:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Moss officiating. Interment will be Monday, April 6, 2015, 1:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 4, 2015, 3-3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
