Stephanie Lozel, age 72, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Born on December 12, 1952, in Manchester, Ohio, Stephanie was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Owens and Stephen Olah. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas William Lozel.

Stephanie dedicated much of her life to education, working as a librarian for the Henry County Public Schools until her retirement. She was an active member of the Morrow Civic Women's Club and the Merle Norman Cosmetics group, and she proudly graduated from Marietta High School and Piedmont College. A devoted member of Morrow Presbyterian Church, she cherished her community there.

But these facts about Stephanie's life don't give anyone a true picture of the vibrant, extroverted woman that she was! She had many, many groups of friends, and people were drawn to her outgoing, inquisitive nature, and her sincere concern for others. She had a wide range of interests and especially loved (not necessarily in this order!) cats, old movies, jewelry, socializing with her family and friends, trips to visit the Szabos in Ohio, and shopping at craft fairs and favorite stores. Her passing leaves an empty spot in the hearts of those who knew her well and had the pleasure of enjoying her companionship.

Stephanie is survived by her brothers: Matt Olah of Atlanta, Mark (Monica) Olah of Marietta, and Dan (Cindy) Olah of Marietta; her niece and nephew, Michelle and Ethan Olah; along with numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15, at 11:00 AM at Morrow Presbyterian Church, with a visitation beginning at 9:00 AM prior to the service.
