Stephen Washney, CW4, Ret., U.S. Army, passed away on April 5, 2017. Mr. Washney was preceded in death by his wife, Elfriede; sons, Stephen Douglas Washney and Jonathan Joseph Washney. He is survived by his children, Michael (Adrienne) Washney of McDonough, Sharon (Allison McDonald) Washney of Decatur; grandchildren, Christopher Washney, Jordan Washney and Rebecca Washney. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
