Stephen Arlo Haver, age 39 of Rex, passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2021. Stephen was a humble unassuming man and a friend to all he met, never knowing a stranger. He was a kind and generous soul who rarely asked for help. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people around him happy. Stephen worked as a proud Pipefitter at Shumate Mechanical for the last twenty years, he enjoyed working with his hands and applying his trade. Some of his favorite hobbies included metal working, whittling, and fishing. He was a wonderful father who always put his family's needs ahead of his own. Even through many health struggles he found the strength to support his family. He is survived by his loving wife Tosha Haver as well as his three beautiful children, Zoey, Luke, and Athena. He cherished his stepfather, Robert Walker, Sr. Brothers, Clint Walker, Kevin Haver, Daniel Haver, Bobby (Kelly) Walker. Sister, Sarah Walker. Grandmother, Martha McKinney and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, including a large extended family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (before the service at the funeral home.)
