Mr. Stephen Wesley Thomas, age 57 of Stockbridge passed away September 8, 2023. Mr. Thomas graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1986 and was employed by American Hose and Hardware for 30 years. He attended Graceway Church in Hampton. Steve loved his family and friends and was the life of the party. He loved to bird hunt, fish and spend time in the mountains. Steve loved his fur babies: Virginia, Meebies, Kylie and Nic. He was preceded in death by his parents: Alan and Virginia Thomas, sister: Cherry Sweatman, brother: Robbie Thomas and his son: Lee Smith. He is survived by his wife: Dianna Thomas, son: Corey ( Kayla) Beisel, daughter: Racheal Thomas of TN., four grandchildren, parents-in-law: Nana (Dee) and Daddy Ron Smith and his special friends: Dean Smith, Kenny Smith, Mark Smith, Tim and Jennie Davis, Terri Grammer, Pam Bettis, Donny and Linda Carden, Joey and Dana Willingham, Bo and Laura Smith, Andrew Scales, Brooke Randall, Mindi Herd, Mahmoud Amercani and Paula Smith. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Gateway Church, 700 Upper Woolsey Road, Hampton, GA 30228 with Rev. Chuck Holt and Pastor Bo Smith officiating.
