Mrs. Susan Diane Barnett Phelps, age 75 of Jonesboro, passed away on September 24, 2023. Mrs. Phelps was a member of Ash Street Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband; Luther Smith Phelps Jr, parents; Harvey Lewell Barnett, Eddie Polina Barnett. She is survived by her children; Robyn Renee Phelps (Paul Crisp) of Jonesboro, brother; Larry Barnett (Patsy) of Covington, grandchildren; Kaleb Nathaniel Phelps-Crisp, Chelsey Crisp, Kaitlyn Nash, Kahlani Jones, nieces; Karen Aiello and Kelly Hittle and adopted daughters; Andrea Williams (Ricardo) of Morrow, Niki Ferguson (Rick) of Jonesboro The family will receive friends Friday September 29, 2023 from 5-8 pm.. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 am in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Greensboro City Cemetery in Greensboro, GA
