Mrs. Sylvia Marie Bethel, age 68 of Jonesboro passed away December 8. 2021. Mrs. Bethel is survived by her children: Jermaine Alvin Asberry (Agnes) of Richardson, GA, Darmaine Hubert Asberry ( Priscilla Anaya) of San Antonio, TX, and Shermaine Shantell Asberry-Lewis (Oneil) of Jonesboro, GA; brothers: Alexander Bethel (Pat) of Nassau, Bahamas, and Urick Bethel of Freeport, Bahamas; sisters: Mildred McKinney and Whyonna Bethel both of Nassau, Bahamas; grandchildren: Jonathan Asberry, Jordan Asberry, Jacob Asberry, Joel Asberry, Josiah Asberry, Jayden Asberry, Darmeshia Asberry, Kiara Asberry, Yolanda Lewis, and Cavan Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, extending family and friends.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1:30 PM before the service at the funeral home.
