Mrs. Thelma G. Hoover, age 91 of Ellijay, formerly of Jonesboro passed away December 10, 2020. Mrs. Hoover was a retired Substitute Teacher with the Clayton County Board of Education. Mrs. Hoover loved her hugs, cardinal birds, quilting, baby sitting, traveling, and the ocean. The most loved things in her life were family, The Lord and her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Troy M. Hoover. Surviving are her children: Michael (Linda) Hoover of Ellijay, Patricia Sepulveda of Bowling Green, KY, Jane (Mike) Leonard of Stockbridge and Arthur (Lynda) Hoover of Mableton, 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Camp Memorial Park, 1095 GA 54 E. Fayetteville, GA 30214 with Pastor Jeff Halenza and Pastor Dave Smedley officiating. Flowers will be accepted, or contribution may be made to Jodeco Road United Methodist Church, 1500 Jodeco Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
