Mr. Thomas James Chastain, Sr., age 82, of Rex, passed away, June 30, 2013. He was a member of College Park Masonic Lodge #454. He is survived by his wife; Annette S. Chastain, son; Thomas Chastain, Jr. of Jonesboro, brothers; Clyde (Geraldine) Chastain of College Park, Gerald (Shirley) Chastain of VA, grandchildren; Heather Chastain, Haley Chastain, and Cameron Chastain. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 1 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
