Timothy L. Ensley, Sr., age 76, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Born on November 20, 1948, in Athens, Georgia, Tim was the beloved son of the late Ruby Nell and Rev. Clarence Leo Ensley, Jr. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and later dedicated more than 25 years to Delta Airlines, where he worked as a lead customer service representative until his retirement.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Carol Ensley of Jonesboro; his three sons, Timothy L. Ensley Jr. of Griffin, Stephen James (Sandy) Ensley of Lizella, and David Michael Ensley; and his cherished grandchildren, Justin Vanhorn, Jessica Lee Ensley, Seth (Cynthia) Ensley, Jana Ensley, Hunter (Ryleigh) Ensley, and Caleb (Jordan) Ensley. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Noah Ensley, Jaxson Ensley, Dalton Duncan, McKinley Duncan, and Timothy Brewer Ensley, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tim's life on Saturday, May 24, at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle, 1974 Walt Stephens Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30236. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.

A graveside service will follow starting at 4:00 PM at Doster Cemetery, 1898 Emmett Doster Rd NW, Monroe, GA 30656, where Tim will be laid to rest.
