Mr. Tommy Miller, age 81 of Jonesboro passed away October 6, 2017. He was a member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro where he was a Deacon for many years, and he was also a Gideon. Surviving are his wife: Avis Miller, children: Mark Miller and wife Donna of Marietta, Tim Miller and wife Kathy of Mount Airy, GA and Melissa Miller-Pickel and husband Jack of Jackson, GA, brother-in-law: George Flury and wife Kate, sister-in-law Gay Flury Hightower and husband Larry, grandchildren: Justin Miller and wife Lindsay, David Miller, Ryan Bloodworth, Caleb Bloodworth and wife Callie, Taylor Pickel and Abby Miller, great-granddaughter: Addie Miller, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Worship Center of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Rev. Jack Pickel, Rev. Irvin Pearre and Rev. Hinton Harris officiating. Mr. Miller will be placed in state at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
