Troy Michael Hoover, 88 of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away Sunday Evening February 1st, 2015 at his home. A celebration of life service will be held at Jodeco Road United Methodist Church Thursday, February 5th at 2:00pm. The Family will be available to greet friends beginning at 1:00pm. Pastor Gene Sheffield and Pastor Jeff Halenza of Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will be officiating. Graveside service will follow at Camp Memorial Park 1095 Highway 54 E, Fayetteville, GA. Friends will be received from 6:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday the 4th at Ford Stewart Funeral Home in Jonesboro, GA. Troy was born March 10th, 1926 in Leaksville, North Carolina. A World War II, United States Navy Veteran, Troy retired from J.C. Penney Co. in Statesville, N.C. after 38 years of service. He is survived by his wife Thelma Hoover, his sister Margie Goodin of Winston Salem, NC, his four children Michael and Linda Hoover, Patricia and Louie Sepulveda, Jane and Mike Leonard, Arthur and Lynda Hoover; his twelve grandchildren Shannon and Anthony Trimboli, Michelle and Nick Roberts, Michael Sepulveda, Jeff and Angela Nelson, Laura Hoover, Arthur and Kristen Hoover, Rebecca and Scott Turner, Jason Hoover, Daniel Hoover and Jessica Lopes, Joy Leonard, Jessica and Chris Weir, Timothy Leonard and his fourteen great-grandchildren Madison and Noah Roberts; Matthew, Joshua and Ashley Sepulveda; Colin and Kyle Nelson; Kaylen, Chloe and Jack Hoover; Ryley and Fai Hoover; Aiden and Madelyn Weir.
