Mrs. Twanda Kenner Bates age 59 of Ellenwood passed away April 30, 2021.  Mrs. Bates was a member of Southlake Church of Christ/ Westend/Renissance, where she served with the evangelism ministry and music ministry, The Golden Voices.  She met her husband at Westend Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her father: Henry Lee Kenner.  She is survived by her loving husband: Knox Bates III; daughter: Raven Bates; mother: Yvonne Kenner of Ocala, FL; siblings: Henry Lee Kenner II of Ocala, FL, Lisa Kenner (Shaun) Akins of Houston, TX, and Shaunda Kenner of Ocala, FL; several cousins, nieces, nephews, close friends and church family.  A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, May 7th, 2021 at Renaissance Church of Christ, 3675 Butner Rd. , Atlanta, GA 30349 with Evangelist Orpheus Heyward, Herbert Moore and Vernon Taylor officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to the family via CashApp at $TWANDABATES.
