Mrs. Vera Mae Adams, age 92, formerly of Rex, GA, passed away, September 14, 2012. She was a member of The Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Pressley Adams. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law; Kenneth and Sharlene Adams of Jonesboro, Glenn and Tammy Adams of FL, brother; Virgil Ray, sisters; Maudine Stallings, Marie Denton, Barbara Ann Walker, grandchildren; Karen Adams, Ronnie Adams, Leslie Maass, Stuart Adams, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held, Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2 PM at The Rock Baptist Church. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2-5 PM at the funeral home.
