Mr. Verlin W. King, age 94 of Stone Mountain passed away January 10, 2022. Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents: Coleman Paul King, Sr. and Mary Barton King and his wife: Jane Martin King. He is survived by his nephews: Garry (Donna) Starr of College Park and Hal (Sarah Ann) Starr of Griffin, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Westmoreland officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, GA. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
