Violeta Virginia Whitt, age 93, of Ellenwood, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Virginia was born on April 8, 1931, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to the late Jesus Vargas and Virginia Ayala Vargas. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Lloyd K. Whitt. She was a homemaker, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A kind heart and a beautiful spirit, Virginia was truly a blessing to all who knew her.
Virginia's memory lives on through her children: Melissa Miller of Rex, GA, Ken Whitt also of Rex, John Whitt of Ellenwood, GA, Fred Whitt of Lake City, GA and Michael Whitt of Dover, DE.
She is survived by her loving siblings: Anamaria Menchaca and Martha Grove, as well as six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.
Virginia will be remembered, and she will be dearly missed
