Mr. Walter Ray Elrod, age 79, of Jonesboro passed away October 11, 2014. Surviving are his daughter, Sandra Marlow of Jonesboro, brothers, Doug Elrod and Weyman Elrod, sister, Deborah Elrod, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014, 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, October 17, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
