Wendell "Roy" Pearre, age 66, of Jonesboro, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1959, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Rev. Walter Irvin Pearre, Jr. and Sarah Euphemia Pearre. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Kenny Allred. He is survived by his siblings, Terrye (Steve) Janney of Newnan, Melody P. (Scott) Allred of Jonesboro, Andy Pearre of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews, Whitney (Todd) Tilley, Stephanie Janney, Madeline (Cory) Carter, Emily Allred, Jeremy Allred, Bo Allred, Jack (Rachel) Allred, Deandre Allred, Sam Allred, Lily Allred; great nieces and nephews, Eli Tilley, Carleigh Tilley, Wyatt Lee, Elizabeth Carter, Alani Rowenhorst and extended family. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. Rev. Allen Davis will officiate.
