Mr. Wesley Lin Owen, age 79 of Ellenwood passed away July 24, 2021. Mr. Owen is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints -  Jonesboro Ward where he held many church callings including Bishop of the Flint River Ward, and was a member of the church choir. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and was retired from Delta Airlines. Mr. Owen held a 3rd degree Black Belt with Haesan Martial Arts and his hobbies included music and carpentry. He was a wonderful Husband, Father and Papa Dude. He is survived by his wife: Priscilla Owen, children: Tiffany Lin Owen (Eugene) Witkin of Peachtree Corners, GA, Tamara Lee Owen (Rick) Jones of Jackson, GA, Damien Lindsey (Jade) Owen of Meridian, ID., and Cameron James (Ashley) Owen of Riverton, Utah, brother: John Owen of Casa Grande, AZ, grandchildren: Mackenzie Jones, Reilley Bringhurst, Hannah Witkin, Hadley Erickson, Jesse Pope, Brighton Jones, Eli Owen, Giedon Owen, Lorelei Owen, Ronan Owen, Samara Owen and Kendricks Owen, great-grandchildren: Easton Erickson, Asher Jones,  Gemma Erickson,  Ari Jones and two more on the way, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Jonesboro Ward with Bishop William Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at the funeral home.
