Mr. Wilbur J. Roberts, age 85 of Jonesboro passed away February 24, 2021. Mr. Roberts was  retired from the Clayton County Police Department and the Clayton County Sheriffs Department, a member of Jonesboro Masonic Lodge #87 and  was preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Roberts. Mr. Roberts is survived by his sons: Randolph Wilbur Roberts of Jonesboro, Steven Glenn (Tami) Roberts of Concord, GA and Talbot Edward (Ryane Purmort) Roberts of Zebulon, sister: Doris McDaniel of Stockbridge, grandchildren: Savannah (Matt) Driskell, Sydney Roberts, Rachel Roberts, Madison Roberts and Caroline Roberts, great-granddaughter: Poppy Anne Ivester. A Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
