Mrs. Willa Mae Bates, age 89, of Stockbridge, passed away on April 2, 2015. She is survived by her children, Dannielle Lynn (Charles) Watkins of Michigan, Knox (Twanda) Bates III of Stockbridge; two nieces as she raised, as her own, Gertrude Tucker and Virginia Cunningham; grandchildren, Andrea (Elias) Watkins-Moro, Raven Bates; great grandchild, Grace Moro and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Locust Grove Church of Christ. Rev. Barry May will officiate.
