Mr. William Thomas "Bill" Allbritton, Sr. age 97 of Hampton passed away December 21, 2022. He was born on October 22, 1925 to the late George Issac Allbritton, Sr. and Gladys Minton Allbritton. Mr. Allbritton was a WWII Veteran who served in the Navy on the USS Wisconsin. He was a member of the Rex Masonic Lodge # 251. He was retired from Central Truck Lines and a member of the Teamsters. He was a proud supporter of the Georgia Sheriff youth boys home. He was an avid Braves and Georgia Bulldogs Fan. He loved his family and he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Allbritton; parents; and siblings: Ashley Allbritton, Audrey Kiser, Mildred Kiser, and Ike Allbritton, Jr. He is survived by his children: Glenda (Peter) Crumbley of Chattanooga, TN, Billy (Donna) Allbritton of Jonesboro and Beth (Joe) Gooch of Hampton; siblings: Dorothy Simpson, Wallace Allbritton, and Faye (O'Neal) Grant all of Valdosta; grandchildren: Kandy (John) Vagovic, Jason Allbritton, Kim (Tommy) Adkins, Nathan Allbritton, Zachary (Danielle) Gooch, and Lauren (CJ) Holliday; great grandchildren: JordanVagovic, Avery Gooch and Nash Allbritton, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Aman officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM at the funeral home before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Merkel Cell Carcinoma,
