Mr. William H. Bailey, Sr. age 95 of Jonesboro passed away September 11, 2022. Mr. Bailey was retired from Delta Air Lines and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 71 years: Jean Bailey, children: Bill (Dawn) Bailey, Jr. of Jonesboro, Jody Bailey (Steve) Smith of Pendergrass, Mike (Stephanie) Bailey of Jackson and Dale (Angie) Bailey of Stockbridge, sister: Connie Rayburn of Gainesville, grandchildren: Larry (Tammie) Golden, Shannon (Shannon) Henley, Ricky (Delisa) Golden, Brittany (Jason) Hendrix, Brooke (Brandon) Parks, Shea (Jerry) Mills, Dale (Heather) Bailey, Morgan Bailey, Colton Bailey, Joseph Durden and Jake Durden, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren and extended family members. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Martin Jones officiating. The family will receive friends 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Friday, prior to the service.
