Mr. Willam H. "Bill" Gant, age 93 of Stockbridge, passed away on August 21, 2024. He was a long time member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesboro. He retired from the Federal Reserve. He was preceded in death by his wife; Frankie Gant. He is survived by his daughter; Gayle Cynthia Pritchard of Stockbridge, grandchild; Heather Lee Pritchard of Idaho, sister; Betty Davis of Lawrenceville and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in the Chapel of Ford–Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Russell Naquin and Lamar West will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens.
