William Steven Farmer, age 73, of McDonough, passed away on June 27, 2026. He was born on May 7, 1953 in Copperhill, TN to the late Reuben and Shirley Farmer. He retired after 30 years of service with the Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services as a Battalion Chief. He is survived by his wife: Vickie, siblings: Freida Diann Kitchens of Monroe, Donald Roy (Sandi) Farmer of TN, nieces and nephews: Jackie Kitchens (Kevin) Karp, Alyssa Farmer, Jesse Farmer, Lauren (Martin) Hernandez, Ashley Hobbs LaVoie, great nieces and nephews: Ryan (Ashley) Karp, Abbigail LaVoie, Meka Farmer, Diondre Farmer, Sarah Bilducia, Martin Thomas Hernandez, Jr., and great great nephew: Christopher Karp. A Funeral Service will be held at 1: 00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM. Chaplain Ron Little will officiate. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.
