Mr. William "Gene" Foster passed away, Wednesday, March 28, 2012. He lived in Eatonton, GA. He was born and raised in Henry County. He lived in Clayton County for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. and Mrs. Emory Foster and his brother James T. Foster. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years; Bessie Foster, Eatonton, GA, two sons; Gary Keith Foster of McDonough, Gregory Lee Foster and his wife Joan of Eatonton, GA, sister-in-law; Sarah Foster of Blairsville, GA, grandchildren; Tyler Foster and Lindsay Foster of McDonough, GA, and two nephews. He had many friends and family who will miss him very much. He worked in the Graphic Arts business for 50 years before retiring in December of 2006. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Foster will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in McDonough. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
