Ret. MSG William Henry Hoelscher, age 59, of McDonough, passed away, July 29, 2014. He served 24 years in the Army. He was very active with the Veterans Wall of Honor and Veterans Military Museum in McDonough. He is survived by his daughter, Julie Hoelscher of Jonesboro; brother, Butch Hoelscher of Tampa; former wife, Jane Hoelscher of Jonesboro; nieces, Bridget Leppin and Valerie Garoutte. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2014 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Military Honors will be given at 5 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Veterans Wall of Honor, 101 Lake Dow Rd., McDonough, GA 30253.
