Mr. William L. Land, age 72, of Snellville, passed away, May 7, 2013. He was a member of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Mr. Land was a Recording Artist at Warner Records. He was a retired member of the Local Union No. 72 with over 40 years of service. His passions in life were his music, fishing, family and hard work. He is survived by his son; Timothy Patrick Land, Sr., daughter and son in law; Melanie Dundena (Bobby) Holladay, son; William Romney Land, fiancé; Jessie Faye Liner, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 loving dogs. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 11AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday on May 10, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at 4PM Saturday at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, GA.
