Mr. William Francis McElhannon, age 79, of Rex, passed away on November 19, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1946, in Atlanta, GA, to the late William E. and Marie Goodwin McElhannon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Linda McElhannon; siblings, Ann Thomas and Daniel McElhannon. Mr. McElhannon is survived by his children, Kevin (Cyndi) McElhannon of Covington, William K. (Angela) McElhannon of Stockbridge, Mark (Lisa) McElhannon of Jackson; grandchildren, Kevin, Jr. (Sammy), Matthew, Christina (Kendrick), William, Kenneth, Cheyenne (Andrew), Johnathan (Madison), Sierra (Josh) and Savannah (Austin); great grandchildren, Nike, Addison, Westlyn, Cori, Paisley, Lillian, Lucy, Veda, Anderson; nieces, nephews and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11 AM prior to the service.
